Set in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, Glascorrie House is a new traditional yet modern house built in grounds which Neil has farmed for many years. The house is situated on an elevated site and has a Salmon Beat below where the River Dee meanders its way down to the sea. The grounds have natural pine woodlands as a back drop and open views across to Morven and Craigendarroch. A footpath can be seen from the house which leads you to a beautiful riverside walk into Ballater.
Our water is sourced from the well known Pannanich Hill. It was said to have had healing powers and in the 19th Century patients and tourists would travel from far and wide to taste its “miracle waters”. Today the water is bottled and sold to a wide variety of outlets by the Deeside Water Co. Please help yourself to a bottle of their product which you will find in your room and savour the pure freshness of their precious water.
The suites are individually decorated to make you feel at home and to enjoy a restful night. With a wide choice on the Breakfast menu this will be sure to set you up for the day ahead.
